According to Wired.com's Gadget Lab, eight, whoops seven, people purchased "I Am Rich" before Apple killed it.
What Gadget Lab fails to even mention is that these people spent $1,000 on a product that does not harm the environment and does not violate human rights to produce. $1,000 that could have been spent on a new set of rimz or some other obnoxious form of conspicuous consumption.
No, they treat "I Am Rich" as some sort of a scam, while marketing a $20,000 Bentley Laptop is a product that meets a legitimate market need.
